MLB Network
Saw this today while watching MLB.com's feed on the Winter Meetings. I had been hearing a little about it, but today they had a press conference on it.
Seriously, this new channel looks unreal. If I heard them right, there will be a nightly MLB Tonight show that airs for 8 hours a night. Analysis of the games, in depth looks at game situations, mechanics of the game, pitch types. My boy Harold Reynolds will be accompanied by Al Leiter and Matt Vasgersian and others as hosts of this new place that my television will be locked onto.
I am sure there are articles out there about this somewhere, but the jist of it is; this channel will be much like the NFL Network in how it is NFL 24 hours a day. In this case, its MLB all day long. They will air 26 games next season on there as well.
So far, I am real excited. Contact your cable network and make sure you guys get this. Opening Day is New Years Day.

Re: MLB Network
I just hope they don't get exclusive rights to games and disallow anyone without the channel from watching it like the NFL network does.
