    I think it might have been Hundley...I think Ken Caminiti did it too though, but I don't remember if it was before or after

    Caminiti did it the year after, then Chipper did it a year or 2 after he did.

    Are you sure about that? I know Hundley hit his 41 in 1996. And I thought that that was the year Caminiti won MVP(which I assumed was his 40 HR year). And Chipper did it in 1999, that one I remember pretty well, seeing as how it felt like 30 of those HR were against my Mets.

    According to Baseball Reference, Caminiti had his 40 in 1996(and only 26 in 1997).

    I know now, though, that Baseball Reference is the way to go. Thanks for the heads up, because I really don't want to be throwing around bad stats trying to sound smart then end up lookig like a tool in the end lol.
