Mickey Mantle was the first ever switch-hitter to hit 40 homeruns in a season. Who is the second switch-hitter to ever do so?

Chipper Jones.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
That's wrong, it's Todd Hundley

I think it might have been Hundley...I think Ken Caminiti did it too though, but I don't remember if it was before or after
Caminiti did it the year after, then Chipper did it a year or 2 after he did.

Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
Are you sure about that? I know Hundley hit his 41 in 1996. And I thought that that was the year Caminiti won MVP(which I assumed was his 40 HR year). And Chipper did it in 1999, that one I remember pretty well, seeing as how it felt like 30 of those HR were against my Mets.

According to Baseball Reference, Caminiti had his 40 in 1996(and only 26 in 1997).
hmm it appears that our references disagree

I'd agree with you because that was the first site that popped up on my search, so I just went with it. My bad for the wrong info.

It's no big deal man. All in good fun.
I know now, though, that Baseball Reference is the way to go. Thanks for the heads up, because I really don't want to be throwing around bad stats trying to sound smart then end up lookig like a tool in the end lol.
