Wasn't sure where else to put this and I didn't want to start a new thread just for it, but this seems like it fits a little.

I got into the "baseball is boring" debate with football fans on a Chargers board.

One guy says he used to like baseball before relief pitchers and pinch hitters became a thing (along with every other change that's taken place over the years)

He finished his gripe with "The new poem should be called "Casey Got Benched for a Lefty in the 6th."" (he compared the "good ole days" way as the way it was described in that poem.

I said that perhaps Mudville would have won the game had they replaced Casey in the 6th instead of leaving him in so he can strike out with the game on the line.
