ok, bronxbomberz is not adding anything to this argument. the idea that he can start his own league is ridiculous. that being said, i think that i'm not gonna argue this anymore because if you're tired of the yankees and red sox, nothing anybody's going to say is going to sway your opinion. just know these people are making ungodly amounts of money because they show what people want.

Nobody's saying they don't understand why ESPN would want to do it the way they're doing it, they're just saying they're sick of it.

If ESPN wants to cater to the majority fan bases instead of all the fans then more power to them. They've obviously determined they can make more money off Yankees and Red Sox fans than they would off fans of every team, but not getting as much from Yankees and Red Sox fans due to not catering to them.

Whatever, it's still annoying as hell for fans who don't root for those two teams.

In all reality, I could really care less. I just don't watch ESPN and stick to MLB.TV.

It's just that I can certainly understand LTR's frustration on the matter and I also find it predictively amusing that only the Yankees fans would defend ESPN on the matter.

ESPN is going to make ungodly amounts showing and covering anything! It hurts the sport by only covering two teams. I watch mlbtv ll the time and watch a team outside the Giants every day when I can. Sometimes I can't and want to watch Sportscenter and find highlights of other games. Yankee fans defending this is hilarious and expected. Only two votes for not being tired and I guarantee they are from Yankee fans.

I not so much sick of Red SOx/Yankees games, but I just would like to see different teams on a little more often. I understand why ESPN and FOX want to televise those games, because many will watch. Plus it is usually good games and drama. But, there are 30 more teams in the MLB. I usually watch these games just because of the rivalary.

There's other great rivalries in baseball besides the overhyped Yankees-Red Sox rivalry.

Is it a good rivalry? Of course

But so are Dodgers/Giants, Cubs/Cardinals, A's/Angels, Braves/Mets to name a few.
