Scott Rolen suffered a non-displaced fracture of his right middle finger during fielding drills Sunday and could miss the start of the season.

Curtis Granderson was hit on the right hand by Phillies pitcher Travis Blackley on Saturday. He was taken to a Lakeland, Florida hospital for X-rays where it was determined to be broken. He was placed on the 15-day disabled list.

Mike Timlin ended up with stitches on the ring finger of his right hand after he fielded a comebacker in an exhibition game. He will have his stitched up finger re-evaluated when the team gets to Los Angeles. There is still a chance he will end up on the disabled list to start the season.

Ben Zobrist, out with a broken thumb, will begin the season on the disabled list.
