Major league baseball just suspended it's first player for steroid use. Of all people, it was OF Alex Sanchez (Tampa Bay Devil Rays). He was suspended for 10 days.

Sanchez? Wow. Didn't see that happening. I highly respect Sanchez, and think he's a gret player, but this just surprises me.....
man sad sad, I feel sorry for him
Why feel sorry for him? He chose to use steroids, and now he needs to serve the punishment. Nothing to feel sorry about.
Sucks for him.

Yep GoYankees good call. I do not feel sorry for him. More like he should feel lucky that the punishment isnt much harsher. He deserves to be a face of a cheater now. I hope he does turn this around though and make better decisions and comes back and plays better baseball without any enhancements.
LMAO!
First guy got caught.
What GoYankees said.
Wow, unbelieveable. Just goes to show you that the steroid users aren't just the big, muscle rippled guys.
Sanchez said he was going to fight this.
Sanchez said he was surprised by the suspension, adding that he uses milkshakes and multivitamins to build his energy - and blaming the positive test on something he bought over the counter.
Exhibit A on why it is difficult to simply look at a player and say yes/no on roids. Although, who knows.

Alex Sanchez, was playing for the Tigers but then got released. Very fast. Plays CF. His mother and brother just arrived in the United States after 10 years of being apart. Was picked up by Devil Rays. A very young kid who has a bright future ahead of him if he learns to not be stupid and take steroids.
I have to believe Sanchez when he says he's going to fight the suspension...the guy hit 2 freaking home runs last year.
Doesn't mean that he's not taking them. He'll fight it, but he won't win.
