I kinda thought Vlad would have more hits than that. 2,000 hits is still not shabby though.

Anyone thinks he might have a shot at 3,000?

That is going to be a stretch. But if he is close to retiring and willing to DH for a couple of years, then maybe.

MLB.com had it projected to happen on May 6th. Sexson surprises again.

    That said, who reaches their milestone first? Griffey's 600th (he's at 597) or Manny's 500th (he's at 496)?

Wow, Richie Sexson. He might get his batting average over his weight this year!

-And I say Griffey. Manny isn't playing the Yankees for a while, so Griffey has a head start.

Milestone Watch: Robinson Cano swung at and popped up the first pitch for the 200th time in a row!!!

I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Hey, at least he didn't swing and miss at a low and away change up, like Carlos Delgado did over 753 times last year

Manny apparently isn't getting wrapped up in 500. I'm sure he's just waiting for the next Yankee/Red Sox series.
