I guarantee it right now. A-Rod will be a Los Angeles Angel of Anaheim.
I am so positive by this that if I am worng I will buy a bag of chips for everyone who remembers I was wrong.
Romero is the perfect owner for something like this. Los Angeles is the perfect place for someone like ARod. Now, many of you may ask; "What about Brandon Wood?" ARod will stay at 3B. Simple as that.
Dont ask me where I got Romero from. Ugh, you got me there.
The Cubs won't have an owner in time to sign ARod plus it would be hard with Soriano, Zambrano, Lee and Ramirez under big contracts.
I don't see the Angels spending that much money on one guy.
I don't know who will get ARod but I just hope it won't be the Giants.
As much as I hate to say it, but I really think the Cubs will end up with him cause he go move back to SS and re-team with his buddy Pinella. That is just too many times I want the Brewers to face him, but I have a strange hunch that is where A-Rod will end up even with the ownership up in the air.
Where are they going to get the money?
Something nutty happens and he'll go to a team not listed.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.

A's? Haha, now that would be sick.
Scenario;
Santana re-signs with the Twinkies. Mets trade Reyes and Carlos Gomez to Minnesota for Santana. Mets sign A-Rod.
Just a hunch in case the Angels go to some guy named Romero for the needed money.
The Twins traded JC Romero to the Angels for Alexi Casilla a couple of years ago, so you weren't completely wrong there.
I wouldn't have any difficulty seeing the Angels push hard for ARod, as they need another bat in their lineup to protect Vladdy. He was about the only one hitting much late in the season this year.
The Dodgers, with Torre at the helm, are going to be players for ARod, if they want to contend. They need to upgrade at 3B and CF to do so.

Even if it's Santana, I don't see the mets dealing Reyes. He and Wright might die mets at this point, something drastic would have to change that scenario. If they could manage somehow, they'd be all for a wright-arod-reyes infield. Reyes could handle 2B.
But I don't think he'll be in New York, only on visits.
