If you were a ball player.... what would you rather have

I would rather win/have a World Series ring. I know I would be criticized by people and maybe some players saying" you were not good enough to be in the Hall of Fame". I would say "I have a ring" I have a good feeling that more people here would rather be in the Hall of Fame then get a ring. So hope you guys do not think I am too stupid.

Wow I thought no one would agree with me on this. One of few baseball players that is in the Hall of Fame and does not have a World Series ring that I feel sorry for him not to have it is Tony Gwynn.

I would want to win a World Series as the closer of the Indians. I'd love to close out Game 7, that would be awesome.

If you ask any HoFer who never won the Series, I am sure they would say they would rather have a ring than be in the HoF.

that is because,, when anyone who does anything competitve, they always want to be on top and a W.S. ring is being at the pinnacle of your sport. It is in their blood, and winning is all that matters to me. I dont care how the team gets a win, just as long as we win, within the limits of the rules. If you catch my drift steroid users!!! hahaha.

Hey guys I repectively disagree with you on how winning the World Series is bigger than being in the HOF. Because IMO winning the WS is a great accomplishment, but winning the WS only defines one season for a team/player where they excelled to an elite level.

But making it to Cooperstown is a bigger accomplishment because it defines a person greatness throughout his MLB career, his passion, longevity, endurance, and ect.
