Tommorow should be a good one. We will see if the Red Sox nation jump off on the ledge if their team lose tommorow. Either way, Red Sox fans should not panic if they lose tommorow. I still think the Sox are the team to beat in the AL and in baseball.
Me too Steak. The Sox should not panick, but they do see a Yankee team that has put it back together of late. Should be a fantastic game to catch.
redsrbetter: There is this lady that I know from another baseball board that I post in. Great poster and very enthauistic Boston sports fan. She already has conceded the season never mind that we are halfway through. Now I shouldn't be calling out another fanbase considering I don't know the team's situation or the fact that I call out the Twins after a loss. With that said, the Sox got lot of winners in that team. They know when to perform. This team will eventually get out of it and the Red Sox have great management. They will get the players they need to get over the top. Red Sox nation should not worry for one bit. They will be more than fine. Sox at least has the resources while the small-market Twins will not be making trades this year to improve the club. They will be fine.
I think Boston wins the AL East and NY wins the wild card.
There is nothing to worry about. I look at this as the Red Sox slumping like most teams are. Not many teams can play .700 or more baseball the entire season unless you are the 1998 Yankees.
Great thoughts here Steak.
I wonder if the Red Sox can pull of a series win after the 17 to 1 victory today. That was a blowout. The series is tied at one apiece, so the winner will be decided during our GOTW.
If the Sox do win tomorrow night, they could go on attack mode and really be lifted to do big things. I see them as AL East winners as well. Especially if Schilling and Wells can get things going.
I say Sox 27-26. Yanks score 26 runs in the 1st vs. Wells. After the Sox bullpen shuts the Yanks down, the Sox score 27 runs on 3 grand slams, 2 3 run HR, and 3 2 run double. Olerud is 7-7 with 10 RBI (2 grans slams and a 2 run double).

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.
6-5 Yankees

Let's see if Wells' struggles continue here...

Heh, I love it. The Sox have a guy in the 2nd hole who shouldn't be there (Renteria, but he's been really good lately), and the Yankees are in the same situation, although the Sox have a good choice for the 2 hole (Nixon) and the Yankees don't unless they want to risk moving A-Rod there again.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
Don't complain. You could have Rich Aurilia in the two-hole.
