Just wanted to point out that Dan Haren's ERA has gone up in 17 straight starts.

That's what happens when your ERA is at 1.58 in your 14th start.
He's no longer the CY but he was for a long time there.
Fausto Carmona = your new AL ERA leader
I am still going with my first choice of J.J. Hardy being the NL Comeback Player of the Year. This is the guy I predicted at the start of the year, and still feel that he is deserving of the award.
Anyone still going with Rick "HGH" Ankiel?
It is a great story, but I feel this award should go to a player who has played most or all of the season.
Jeff Suppan is a finalist for the Clemente Award. Just thought I would add this in here on this thread.
I now take back pick for Comeback Player of the Year. Ryan Franklin is no longer my choice. Ankiel has made the biggest comeback that a person can but has not played enough. My jury is still out.
point taken reefer, we will see. hahaha..
understandable point to BTW!!! Still, Hardy has done all year. But I really do understand what you are saying about Ankiel and it is a feel good story at that!!!
you guys never said Chris Young for ROY? Peavy CY Young, no question. Rolaids Relief Man(hopefully if he does not blow any more saves and can get more saves ) Jose Valverde

Maybe but Ankiel did well to come out and tell the press and MLB everything he knew and did. Plus everything he did was legal.
Chris Young would be fourth on my list for ROY.
Young (Arizona) is having a nice year. But there are many more rookies having better years. But he looks like a keeper for the Diamondbacks though!!!
I now change my NL MVP pick from Eric Byrnes to Matt Holliday. Byrnes has slowed down and Holliday has been at this level all year. He has kept that Rockies team in contention all year. Reyes and Wright have slowed down both offensively and defnesively but Howard and Fielder are still ripping it.
I can live with Holliday, Fielder, or Howard. I will even throw in Jimmy Rollins. He is having an AWESOME year as well. I feel he is more deserving than Howard, cause I feel he is the Phillies MVP.
I am bias, so Fielder is my leader in the clubhouse, with Rollins a close second, and Holliday very close third.
