Congrats to Bonds, it was a magical moment. Glad I got to see it live on television.

It was a great moment and Bonds had nice words to say to the Nats and to the fans of baseball. Bonds was ice enough to sign a bat for Bacsik. Bascik showed some real class and has taken it well. His father pitched against Aaron while he had 755 HRs. Nice little baseball story there. Great night and great moment! I just hope Bonds continues on and doesn't just beat this record by four or so.
Nice video clip, Bronx. Nice find.
No matter who you are, as a baseball fan, you gotta love this moment.
Classy act by all involved both during the game, and post game.
Thank you to everyone who welcomed me. Back on topic though...the mentioning of A-Rod possibly beating the record.
It's possible, but will pitchers ever give him the same treatment as Bonds? They tend to always pitch to him even when he is playing good that day, so it's possible. I'd rather Barry keep the record though.
ARod has protection in the lineup everywhere you look. Bonds has guys like Klesko, Feliz, and Durham. If Arod is smart h will only go to a team with a real threat behind him.
Very good thoughts here guys. ASRod does have mass protection and he doesn't get intentionally passed 3 times a game like Barry. It should be much easier for him to keep climbing.
This just shows Barry's greatness even further. I know all of us have employed this in our minds already, but what a remarkable player Barry is. I am just glad I had the opportunity to watch him play. We grew up hearing about Babe Ruth. Our kids will now grow up wishing theyhad the chance to watch Barry play. Awesome!
757 in McCovey Cove baby! First inning bomb from Barry tonight! Keep em coming.
Anyone think he'll hit 775 before the season's end? Maybe less?
I say less because he likely will be getting a lot of rest and not playing games. Thats asking for 18 more HRs. 8 more this month and 10 next month. He could do it, but I wouldn't bet on it myself.
I think the same, too. Needlessly to say, surprise me, Barry!
758 baby! We have a new record!
