Sunday night baseball? Instead of the Yankees/Mets? Giants playing at Boston for the 1st time ever, there have been plenty of Yankees/Mets games on SNB.

because its espNY
and smack forum ftw
ESPN is rapidly becoming the MTV of the sports world.
The Yankees could be playing the Kansas City Royals and ESPN would show that than this series.
Because it's the Yankees and they have more coverage. It's sickening really.
"For someone who was never meant for this world, I must confess I'm suddenly having a hard time leaving it. Of course, they say every atom in our bodies was once part of a star. Maybe I'm not leaving... maybe I'm going home."
Because Yankees/Mets actually has some rivalry to it. Boston/San Fran is just another result of the stupidity of interleague play.
Yankees/Mets play eachother every year, and especially since they have already played on SNB, Giants/Red Sox play once every 3-4 years, and this was the 1st time since 1915 that the Giants will be playing at Fenway park.
So? I don't care if they have NEVER played.. the series is forgettable.
maybe it's because the Giants have to travel to Milwaukee to play in a game tomorrow so it's better to get in an early game (1 pm eastern), while the Yankees don't have a game tomorrow, thus can more easily play the night game.
That makes sense...but honestly you can say whatever you want about ESPN pimping the Yankees, but the fact of the matter is this game will probably get the best ratings. And that's what TV is all about.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
eh, Giants/Red Sox was already the national Saturday game for most of the country aside from the Chicago and SD areas I believe, so it wasn't necessary to have them nationally a second night even though it's another network.
