Wright had trouble finding the zone to start but seems to have settled down.

And there goes Matsui with a double the line.

2.15 ERA, definitely good. Surprise to me. Very underrated as far as this season is concerned so far.

Right now their rotation is pretty horrid, but with Clemens and Hughes healthy, that won't be half bad at all (not great of course.)

ARod about to get tossed early.

That pitch looked good to me.

    Nice start for Maine.

A-Rod continues his horrible month of May.

I think the Yankees have found themselves buying so many stars in the game and injuries and age have just hurt their rotation. They have so many players that have played really well for other teams and just find it hard to be a Yankee.

But you are right. The Rocket and Hughes should be a huge part of their comeback this season. I am anticipating a good night from Clippard as well.

Yeah, I think he only has gone deep once or twice this month.

That curveball was nasty. Just as I read on him. Nice slow stuff and a good controlled heater.

That curve fell off the table completely as Jose Reyes was swinging for dirt. Nice first out for Clippard's debut.

you're right of course, but i was factoring in the injuries into my consideration. clemens will help the rotation, but the yanks will need to find a way to not fall completely out of it before he returns.

I think I'd actually watch more baseball if Miller/Morgan weren't such a terrible combination. Miller's apparently not even bad as an announcer, everyone says he's good, but throw him with Joe Morgan and he's abysmal.

Can't Orel Hershisher do the games with Jon?

I love Jon Miller. I think he is all around a great baseball announcer. Morgan won an Emmy. How? I am not sure. I agree completely here.
