    Great, if Doug M doesn't get a hit we're down to Tyler Clippard to drive in the run...

    Yep, 1-2-3 inning. Real nasty curveball 12-6 drops off the planet. Nice control of the 90 MPH fastball. Didn't see the changeup yet.

    Pounded the zone with strikes, great control and his curve was pretty filthy. I didn't notice his other pitches all too much, but the curve looked nice.

    i have more faith in a rookie pitcher driving in a run from 3rd than mientkiewicz. pitiful ball player. cano is pretty pitiful too this year.

    The Yanks leave 2 on and could not get it done. Maine throws that nice fastball down and on the outside corner perfectly and gets Clippard looking.

    down looking... yet another scoring situation left by the wayside. why isnt giambi playing... the team cant hit, the pitching has been fine (aside from yesterday of course), so why take giambis bat out of the lineup for defensive purposes?
