What a crock of s***T. You guys are always *****ing about east coast bias, this and that, well here is a clear cut anti-yankee and anti Derek Jeter bias.
What is the worst source of diarrhea ?
A)A bowl of chili, or
B)Curt Schilling's mouth
Awful choice. Mauer was more valuable, Santana was more valuable, and come on. Morneau's Canadian.
Horrible decision.

Carlos Quentin for MVP!

Great choic here as the writers finally give the little guys credit. If Howard can win the MVP based on the second half, so should Morneau.
To say he was third valuable on his own team is ridiculous. Just look at Morneau's everday numbers. He hit .321, 34 homeruns, 130 RBI, 97 runs scored and hit 37 doubles. Even Santana said he deserved it.After June 8, Morneau had the best batting average in the Majors (.362). In that stretch, Morneau also had the most hits in baseball (145) and the most RBIs in the AL (92). And it doesn't take much to link the Twins' turnaround to Morneau's emergence, as the club was 25-33 through June 7 before going 71-33 the rest of the season, the best record in the Majors during that span.
Santana or Jeter were fine with me. Morneau's crap.
I would have voted for Jeter on a serious ballot.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
Don't lie, waruv, you would have voted for Matt Stairs.
Besides, Jeter only cares about championships, right? Not individual awards, so he shouldn't be too down about losing this. Although championships are starting to be hard to come by for him.
Im sure Morneau had Arod, Giambi, Dammon in his lineup to protect him.
Jeter's overated anyways, Morneau is the right choice.
Well at least he is bangin' Jessica Biel as a consolation

Yes, because batting .344 is over-rated.....Originally Posted by GiantsFan83

Yup, having guys like Arod, Giambi and Dammon helps with that BA.Originally Posted by yhova
Morneau was my 1st choice to win the MVP, Jeter wasn't close, he didn't have the stats to even be considered if you ask me. His .343 avg was the only stat Jeter had going for himself.
I'm surprised Dye didn't get enough votes to finish in the top 4

FINALLY! The writers get off the Yankees' laps and pick a more deserving candidate.

I'm glad that the little guys are finally winning the MVP.
And when I say little guys, I means guys that are completely undeserving and aren't even the best players on their own team.
Awesome another Canadian MVP.
NBA - Nash
NHL - thorton?
MLB - Morneau
