Chien-Ming Wang finished second and Roy Halladay third.
Voters are perfect so far on the individual awards.
Are you ****ing with me, voters? Is this all a great build up to Dan Uggla getting the NL MVP?
Though they are screwing up all the runners up, but eh, you deal.
Chien Ming defintely deserved runner up here, McKain...
220 to 218 IP
208 to 233 hits
34 BBs to 52 BBs
1.10 WHIP to 1.31 WHIP
3.19 ERA to 3.63 ERA
Halladay is better in all of those than Wang. I don't see how he deserved the runner-up because he got 3 more wins on a better offensive team.
No real surprise here. Baseball America gave Santana its player of the year award this year.
Wang came out of nowhere and became the Yankees best starter. Halladay just had a usual year, for him. Nothing really spectacular.
