That is awful.
This especially hits home since he pitched for the Reds.
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)
Homer: We're proud of you, boy.
Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.
That's some freaky chiat......
They apparently found his driver's license at the scene.

I saw this posted on another site but didn't believe it until I saw it posted here. His page on wikipedia has already been updated to reflect his death. This came as a shock to me.

Im not the Genius that traded for Brandon McCarthy. And my name is certainly not John Gibbons...
No. Or else it would have been A-Rod.Originally Posted by Roy31

The big question is... do you postpone the Mets game tonight? Keep in mind, Lidle started his career with the Mets.
Also, this is the second Yankee to die in a plane crash. The first was Thurmond Munson.

C'mon guys, be serious
I hate the Yankees with a passion, but this is a sad day indeed. It's a dreary day in New York in more ways than one.
Yes, you postpone the Mets game, but not just because of Lidle, but because of the heavy rain that is coming down as we speak.
RIP Cory Lidle

WOW! I was watching this crash on the news earlier today. I just got a phone call from a co-worker saying it was Lidle. This is insane. I was sitting their prepared for a base-wide recall expecting this to be a terrorist threat and it wasn't.
I even said, "who flies into a building by accident?" This is a shock and it hurts to see that it looks like it was a mistake somehow.
My sentiments go out to his family. WOW!
My fellow man named Cory, you will be missed in the world.
No one..
er.
No decent human being should go out that way. R.I.P. Mr. Lidle
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

It's a tragedy but I do not think they should postpone a game due to four people dying. Its sucks but life must go on and so should baseball.
Cards/Mets cancelled tonight.
Not because of Lidle, because of mother nature. Just thought I'd bring it up, since someone mentioned it.
