I'm just glad McCann is going to be their. He should of been the starter instead of the waste of life Lo Duca.

The fact that Ozzie originally picked Robinson Cano over Jose Lopez, offically was a stupid ass move.

Raul Ibanez did have a very good season so far

    Code:

Player A got voted in as the starter, Vlad.
    Player B is Raul Ibanez
Player C is Gary Matthews Jr

Gary Matthews Jr did deserve to get in. But can you justify Raul Ibanez off these numbers.

Plenty of people got shafted like always. Griffey did well but this is payback for all the years he went when he did not deserve it!

I'm happy with the 5 Jays selected to be in the al-star game, disappointed that Alex Rios is injuried and can't play, I don't think Glaus should have been named though

I think Glaus was a legitimate choice. There are many bad choices out there, but Glaus was one that I liked. Crede, Lowell, Rodriguez, or Glaus were all fine choices for third basemen. All four of which come from four (I think the Top 4 AL) teams in terms of all-star selections.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.

    Wow, that's tough Dam.

I'll take the fourth one, even though he has 70 less at-bats, I like him a bit more. Of course, I argued Hafner over Pujols for the opposite reason, so that has some hypocrisy. I guess I'll take the third one as well, I think the higher BA (sure, not a lot of help, but a single is still more valuable than a walk, by a bit) and the highest OBP of the remaining.

    All four are good choices.

I would rather see Crede named than Glaus, but I guess Ozzie couldn't name him with his other picks

I'd like DeRosa more if he didn't have such a tight split (26 games at second, 24 at right, various others in the outfield, a couple at other positions) among his positions, so I'd go with two of Cano/Lopez/B-Roberts (who you left off the list, because you stink. Smelly boy).

I would probably take the 1st and 4th guys.

That's what makes DeRosa such a valueable player to the Rangers. You can stick him anywhere in the field and he'll do a solid job and get his hits. I would think that would get him more consideration since he does so good with the uncertainly of where he will be playing hanging over him all the time. Kind of hard to pick a position for him to go in at though I guess.

Yeah, I love DeRosa as a player, but I just can't stick him in the All Star Game because of positional indifference.
