Even though he looks clueless in right at times, his arm is so valuable even if he gets a little wild on a few throws. Plus, he hits better than anyone in the league(minus Suzuki) so you can't complain with anything he does.

Who even thought of putting Barry "I can't throw out Sid Breem from deep shortstop" Bonds in this???
I would have put in Ichiro.... Ichiro has huge glove, range and an arm... and nobody can doubt his hitting skills
Sleeper pick: Andruw Jones

He starts to move when the ball leaves the pitchers hand. And he moves around the OF depending on the hitter and the pitch count. Its pretty bizzare.

Todd Helton needs some love.
True, but he ain't too great a fielder. I think Furcal needs some love, as does Rolen.

Excuse me? He is a 3 time gold glover and plays in a division with JT Snow.
Ichiro isn't as valuable a hitter as Edmonds nor is he as valuable a fielder since Edmonds plays in a preminum and he's a gold-glover there.
yall got put jt snow up on there if u go by last year jt had the 2nd best batting average after the all star break so he is the best fielder and barry cud throw he had mor outfiled assist than like a eric byrnes or sum 1 like that larry walker

LOL.
You named your username after JT freaking Snow.
That's hilarious.
I'm just confused now.
Note to self: Consider adding a legibility rule.
How about Hideki Matsui? I am not just basing this on last night's catch. He has been doing it for the last two years.
I pick Hideki Matsui.
I don't care for him, but I respect him. He is actually one Yankee that I like.
There is no doubt in my mind that Scott Rolen is far and away the best fielder in the game. And how can you argue with his production offensively last year?
I believe Pujols is being shortchanged here. He is a darn good fielder, not to mention the best bat in the game.
I think given a little more time Carl Crawford will be on this list as well.

Matsui isn't a good enough fielder to even offset Manny in my book. Of course, if Matsui just played the Sox, I'd agree. He's the Jason Johnson of hitters.
