never heard of haddix till today, maybe because he LOST that game, thats why it gets overlooked and does not get that much attention?

what year of the playoffs was it and what team was he on?

It was not in the playoffs, it was in May 1959. Dry1313 is just totally confused.

I was confused. But as for Haddix, shut your mouth, no other pitcher has even come close to that type of domination. Granted, he lost in his 13TH STRAIGHT INNING. Not many relievers could have 12 straight perfect innings, let alone a Starter. In one game. So yeah, if you haven't heard of Haddix you don't know jack about baseball.

Lew Burdette won that game and he went 13 full shutout innings.

That was masterful but he lost the game, probably best in a losing cause.

Lew Burdette was a ****ing psycho though DK. After he pitched that game, he pitched a no-no next year with the Yankees, stated he was the "best pitcher ever," and demanded a $100,000 raise. Harvey Haddix was the man.
