Jose Lopez is 3rd in runs, 2nd in hits, 2nd in 2B, Leads in Triples, 2nd in HRs, 1st in RBIs, and 2nd in OPS among 2B.
Why the **** is he not getting votes? Are people not noticing that or what.

Jim Thome isn't even on the ballot. Did you actually vote?Originally Posted by love_that_reefer

As it stands right now Vlad Guererro is the only non-Yankee or Red Sox player leading the voting polls.
Robinson Cano leading the 2b votes? what a freakin joke.
And the ironic part of that one is that I feel it's a Red Sox player that should be leading that position.

Wait wait, what? Why not Cano? He's a legit pick for second base, been doing it all year, not like Loretta who sucked through the entire month of April.
The only thing Cano has is a better average

If Loretta is up there you could make a serious case for Ian Kinsler too. Kinsler has only played about 20 games but in those 20 he has been clutch and hitting well plus solid defensively.
Cano is fine by me he has been doing well no real standout at 2B. Ever since Robbie Alomars good years that position has been a tossup.

Im not the Genius that traded for Brandon McCarthy. And my name is certainly not John Gibbons...
More homeruns, more doubles, more runs scored, more slugging % too. Not like I care about who has what stats, but Loretta took the entire month of April off, while Cano performed in both April and May. That's that for me.
I was more comparing him to LopezOriginally Posted by DirtyKash

The AL crop of 2B sucked. I'd take Lopez or even Brian Roberts (hurt for a month, but still raking). If Derosa played more, he'd be fine. As would Iguchi and Wigginton.
If forced to choose, give me Lopez.
