Brian Dozier Traded to the Dodgers

I think Dozier could be a real difference maker in LA. I really like him and the way he plays the game. Could prove to be one of the most impactful trades of the day.

We'll see. This squad has enough feast-or-famine hitters as is, which is why they leave so many runners on base, and Dozier is another one. I wished they would've gotten 1 decent reliever when so many other contenders acquired 2 or 3, but I knew it wasn't possible unless somebody could take Fucksythe in the same deal for us to get under the tax, so they just went for a lateral move.

In two games, Brian Dozier has hit as many home runs for the Dodgers this season as Logan Forsythe did.

So happy we acquired the Rich Man's Forsythe for the Poor Man's Dozier.

Dozier has been more of a difference maker than Machado, that's for sure. Keep Dozier, let another team dumb enough to give Manny $30M a year, and spend the savings between Manny and Dozier elsewhere.
