Roberts won't let Dustin May pitch past the first inning and burns through the bullpen, yet he sends Buehler out to start yet another Game 1 with his blister issues. I can already see Roberts costing us this game and the rest of the series.

I fully expected that to happen, and yet it is still miserable. It's over. We never win when we don't win Game 1.

I know the reactionary folks will now agonize over a run here or there that cost them in this game, but...if the lead wasn't what it was then Melancon just enters in a clean inning and they likely go down in order.

It's still a miserable feeling, though. I feel even worse about 2017.

Watch, Kyle Wright goes 8 shutout and Urias makes a mistake that they don't recover from. Or they get to Wright early, but Urias and the fucking pen coughs it up all back and more. I'm tired of watching this same shitty script every year.

Welp, so much for hope. This series was lost the moment Dave "Bad Decisions" Roberts punted Game 2 as a bullpen game. Even a rested Buehler for Game 3 is no gimme when Satan is starting for the other side.
