    Kenley Jansen back to the Dodgers

    He re-ups for 5 years, $80 million (USD). He turned down the Nats' reported offer of 5 years/$80M and the Marlins' offer believed to be around the same amount as the Dodgers' but heavily backloaded (thanks, Loria).

    As much as I don't like giving Mike Piazza money to a closer, I have to commend Friedman for not cheaping out. You're not in Tampa Bay anymore where you can skate by with giving Pedro Baez the closer's job just because he makes the league minimum.

    Jansen going back is something that I was really hoping would happen. Mainly because I didn't know if Mofo would make it through the season with Chris Hatcher as the Dodgers closer..

    That second throw is ridiculous. It never gained any height.
