What's your thoughtful opinion of Adam Dunn, Mofo?

He must continue to draw walks when he isn't getting good pitches to hit. It's the only thing that sets him apart from Richie Sexson.

He is cheaper and less of a headache than Manny. Juan Pierre can come in late in games to pinch run for him and stay in the game to play LF. Dunn would become the biggest power hitter in the entire NL West.

Dodgers are also looking at Bobby Abreu who would be even better than Dunn.

Forget Abreu. His batting stats were significantly worse away from Yankee Stadium and he won't have A-Rod and Jeter as his protection. I'll take him only if Ned somehow gets rid of Jones.

Dunn Deal Dept.: OK, here's another hang-up if Manny decides to stall until spring training. An official of one team that has had contact with Adam Dunn's agents says Dunn is "definitely" waiting to see what happens with Ramirez because the Dodgers are his preferred destination.

The tunnel vision of front office is killing the team's chances of defending the division title. They're looking at it all wrong, that it must be one or the other. Signing Dunn right now doesn't have to rule out the possibility of re-signing Manny.
