The Los Angeles Dodgers have been scouting the Texas Rangers, a team positioned to be a seller at the trade deadline.

The Dodgers also moved Nomar Garciaparra to third base recently.

It's not hard to envision a scenario that would have Texas first baseman Mark Teixeira shipped to the Dodgers for a group of prospects that will help the Rangers rebuild.
