As a huge Trout fan, I really like this. I love the fact that the Angels recognized the caliber of player he is and aren't going to let him get away. He seems like a really good person who has done everything the right way.

However, I have to wonder if he marketed himself better, if he would have got more money? /s

I love how everyone's applauding him for his "loyalty" all over facebook, as if 460 million dollars wouldn't keep anyone loyal.

My favorite was the person who tacked on "...unlike those other two I shall not name" because apparently it was Machado who traded himself away from the team that drafted him.
