Sucks that someone has to get fired for the failure of the players but maybe it was just time. Francona won two WS with the Red Sox and had to go. I don't see this doing anything for the Angels offense who is missing it's starting catcher and Pujols getting away from what made him successful. MLB Network did a great breakdown on how his mechanics are way off but Pujols has shown no signs of going back to his old, successful ways.

Salt Lake is 4th in avg and 7th in BB in the pacific league. Both areas the Angels are bad in so far. They need to preach patience. With that many slighted there's no way they should be dead last in the AL with 88 total walks.
