Chris Iannetta will undergo surgery on his right wrist Friday and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.
Iannetta suffered the injury when he was hit on the wrist by a pitch on May 2, the same night he caught Jered Weaver's no-hitter. It's a tough blow for the Angels, who will now be without their primary catcher until late June or early July. Hank Conger is currently on the minor league disabled list, so Robinson Diaz or John Hester will likely be called up from Triple-A Salt Lake to split playing time with Bobby Wilson.
