Jerome Williams earned his first major league victory in almost six years on Sunday, limiting the Orioles to one earned run over seven innings.
Williams, 29, is a journeyman that found the good fortune of starting against the light-hitting Orioles in pitcher-friendly Anaheim Sunday. He struck out six, walked none and gave up just six hits, but we'd like to see him do it again before trusting him in fantasy leagues. This was Williams' first big league start since 2007 and he started this season with the Lancaster Barnstormers of the Atlantic League.
