    American League What Toronto wants from LAA for Halladay

    Ken Rosenthal reported this during the Cardinals/Phillies game going on right now,

    Toronto is asking for SP Joe Saunders, 3B Brandon Wood, IF Erick Aybar, and a prospect for Roy Halladay. I don't know which prospect but I know Aybar is the only guy listed off the angels that's doing well right now.

    I guess the blue jays are high on the hitters cause Saunders is approaching a 5.00 ERA. Wood has never shown consistency at the majors. Angels would get a monster upgrade if they swapped out Saunders for Halladay, if this is a true offer, I hope they're considering it. Aybar or Wood can't be untouchable could they?

    I think its the AND part thats prolly holding it off... I mean who plays 3B next year when figgins leaves?

    Matt Brown is ready to play, for a while. He can handle things for a year or so. Freddy Sandoval looks like he could handle things also.
