Re: Royals @ Angels
Good point...it's pretty evenly spaced at the Coliseum. It kinda depends on the opponent though. If the Yankees are in town, then all the people are on the first baseline. If it's the D-Rays (no offense) then most are down the third baseline.

Re: Royals @ Angels
Well when the D-Rays or Royals are at Camden Yards there more trying to get the Orioles.

Re: Royals @ Angels
Same. When the O's are in town most people are at the visiting dugout trying to get Miggy's signature. He's still really popular in Oakland. Giambi kind of is, Zito isn't, and I'm not too sure about Huddy or Mulder. Frank Thomas was really given the royal treatment when the Jays were in town. It was crazy.

Re: Royals @ Angels
That is the way when the Yankees come to town with Mussina and also with the Jays when B.J. Ryan was there and not on the D.L.

Re: Royals @ Angels
It's cool that the fans still remember and still respect the player(s). I don't think they'd have any respect for Jeremy Giambi. Slide kid, SLIDE!

Re: Royals @ Angels
Jason brother that didn't turn out to be much. There was another guy like that a little earlier I believe and he was in the A's organization to. Ozzie Cansaco.

Re: Royals @ Angels
Yup. It's hard to follow the footsteps of your sibs. However, there are a few brothers who both are (and were) relatively successful in the bigs.

Re: Royals @ Angels
I guess Joe & Phil Niekro would be one of them.

Yup. Them and the Weavers, the Alous, the Aybars, the Boones, the Deans, the DiMaggios, the Drews, the Giles, the Lugos, the Molinas, the Torres, the Youngs, and a bazillion more.

Re: Royals @ Angels
Gosh, there are alot of others. And how could I forget the Ripkens. Billy didn't pull his weight with hitting, but he was one helluva fielding 2B.

Re: Royals @ Angels
Baseball is very much a family game. There are so many brothers, cousins, and father/son combos who have played this game. It's really cool.
