I have heard it mentioned on several broadcasts by several different broadcasters about the Angels minor league system and how it is probably the best. On another board we were discussing franchise players in the MLB and I happened across this list of Angel franchise players:

John Lackey
Francisco Rodriguez, K-Rod
Jarrod Washburn
Scot Shields
Bengie Molina
Garrett Anderson
Darin Erstad
Tim Salmon

In this day and age of incessant trading, I find it amazing to find 8 franchise players on one team. There could very well be something to the claim of the Angels having the best minor league system.....

........Any thoughts, or anyone else's team have a list of franchise players?
