I'm not sure if everybody really understands just how big of a turnaround Gordon has made. He was starting to look like a bust and then Kevin Seitzer worked tirelessly with Gordon and it has paid off to the tune of a .298/.372/.480 batting line to go along with 14 HR and 36 2B. Before this season he was averaging a .244/.328/.405 with 11 HR and 22 2B. He seems to have made a nice transition from 3b to LF but still needs improvement but that will come with more playing time. Gordon has been moved around the lineup quite a bit going from batting third to leadoff to cleanup to third to leadoff and so on and it adds to just how well he has been at making adjustments. Gordon has also really turned himself into a good everyday player and I hope he has continued success.
