Thanks, had no clue.
In my opinion organizations are built around pitching and when you have a pitcher of the caliber of Greinke you try to sign him and keep him. He is a losing streak stopper right now on a team that could be a lot worse than without him.
This is pretty much a no brainer.SI.com's Jon Heyman hears that there's "no chance" Zack Greinke would accept a trade to New York.
Pretty much what we expected, as Greinke included large-market teams like the Yankees and Red Sox on his no-trade list this season. He remains an elite talent, despite taking a step back in 2010, but if what Heyman was told can be believed, it sounds like he just wouldn't be comfortable under the intense media scrutiny that New York would bring.
The Rangers definitely have players to give but its going to take a lot more than Beltre to get the conversation started.According to the Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo, "the consensus among baseball people" is that the Rangers are the best potential fit with the Royals for a Zack Greinke deal.
Cafardo mentions the bevy of young, talented arms the Rangers could send to Kansas City. Outfielder Engel Beltre is also a name he thinks might pique the Royals' interest. The Rangers would figure to heat up trade talks for Greinke if they're unable to retain Cliff Lee. The Red Sox and Blue Jays are two other teams that could get involved in the Greinke talks.
Talks are heating up a bit but I bet nothing gets done till trading deadline during the season. THAT'S when teams are willing to sell the farm
So far I have heard Kyle Drabek and Travis Snider being offered by the Jays. That's a good start!

Looks like it will happen.
Don't think the Jays will be involved, but lets see where this goes.
