Greinke got pounded by the Mariners' anemic "offense" last night. It is truly baffling what has happened to him from 2009 to 2010.

What has happened? Going from great to good?

He's still pitching well despite never getting the run support. The Royals offense has baffled me all year. They hit for a great average except when men are in scoring position. That would piss off any pitcher. Just ask Matt Cain and Barry Zito
No question. But Greinke's K/9 drop is a bit concerning to me. I do tend to agree with you that the lack of run support and the Royals in general are getting to him. It would be interesting to see his performance on a contender with an actual run producing lineup behind him.
