Bannister's Now 3-0!!

Brian Bannister is now 3-0 thanks to a complete game three hitter against the Twins. The one run they scored was unearned giving Banister an ERA of .86 on the year. The Royals basically stole him from the Mets for Burgos. Bannister only struck out three but he is more reliant on his movement. Gordon hit his thrid homerun of the year and was 2-3 with 1 RBI and a stolen base.

And looking good too!!! Bravo, to him and the Royals. Nice start to the season!!

The best part is, as great as Bannister has looked Grienke has looked even better. Now if they can keep it up and if Meche can get going the Royals could be really good.

I always liked Bannister. He was having a solid season with the Mets a few years ago before he got hurt. I was surprised they gave up on him. It's also about time we got the better end of a trade with the Mets. After the David Cone and Bret Saberhagen fiascoes I cringed when I heard "trade with Mets."
