I've been saying it and I'll say it again, the Royals are definitely a team headed in the right direction. They're not quite ready to compete with the big boys over a full season, but I don't think it's as far off as everyone thinks.

I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
seems to be that many of us are in a agreement. Royals just be like the Jefferson's after all, they are movin' on up!!!
KC's now 3-0 and still on pace for 162 wins!
Detroit, with the second-highest payroll in the major leagues at $138.7 million, scored only five runs in the series.
Last undefeated team in the major leagues!
I demand Killa come out and gloat!!!
Don't worry about it for a while. The Twins beat them 4-3 tonight on a beautiful suicide squeeze play involving Adam Everett (the batter) and Mike Lamb. I wonder how many times they did that in Houston? Bale looked decent as a 4th starter for the Royals.

Hey Leo and Reefer, I'm a little late but I made it. I won't be gloating too much because I know where this team truly is, but it's great to finally get off to a good start and see other fans realize that this team is finally heading in the right direction. Dayton Moore was a great hire and Trey Hillman was the right guy for this team. I'm real excited about this team. I don't expect the playoffs or really to be truly contending in September, but the optimist in me holds out hope. Hey, if the 03 team could do it why not these guys?
Alex Gordon and Billy Butler are both going to be superstars and it appears Zach Greinke is finally on track. If guys like Teahan and Dejesus can continue to improve, then the team adds a few pieces, this team could be a true contender in a year or two.
Just glad to have KC represented once again. I have enjoyed watching them so far and Butler and Gordon are showing their true colors. Meche, Bannister and Grienke have been great as well!!
The Royals have lost 7 straight games. 9-6 is now 9-13.
