Longer than I had thought. Still a Royals fan and I am looking forward to the new season. I have a lot of faith in Dayton Moore and hope to see some real improvement this season. Hopefully I can find the time to pop in here more than I have been.

Welcome back!
Welcome Back and good luck to your Royals this year.
I hope the Royals have a plaque behind the plate where Buck O'Neil used to sit every game. Its the least they can do to honor the guy.
I, too, hope they can play competitive games into September this season. They have some real talent in camp.

I think the Royals will be much improved and finish fourth in the Central. They've added pitching and some pop to that lineup. They were 69-93 last season. I see them winning 75+ games.
I really think the Royals are heading in the right direction as well!
Congrats on signing Bombko.
They certainly are improved this season. Presently, I see the AL Central shaking out like this:
Detroit, Cleveland, Minnesota, KC, Chicago.

That's how I see the Central.
Yeah, there isn't really much question on who will win the Central. Tigers have it pretty much locked up right now...
Tennessee Titans. Duke athletics. New York Yankees. Carolina Hurricanes. Portland Trailblazers.
Milwaukee Brewers MSL GM
Cleveland is pretty damn good too. They will make it close.
True, it'll be fun to watch but I still think Det. will take it. Either way its going to be hard for the Yankees or any team for that matter in the AL to make the playoffs.

Thanks everyone.
I just hope the Royals can get off to a decent start. They actually played pretty well last year and showed improvement after another horrendous beginning. I agree it's between the Tigers and Indians for the division with nod to Detroit. I think KC could give the Twins a run if Minnesota trades away Santana and KC gets off to a good start and plays consistent baseball. I won't pick that because the Twins prove every season they are a solid ball club.
After reading Trey Hillman's write up I'm excited for Royals baseball
