GO AWAY!!
Roger Clemens spent the last two days in Dallas and Fort Worth.
He was not, however, looking at possible homes in which to spend the 2006 season.
Clemens received the Texas Legends Award from the wood-bat Texas Collegiate League on Thursday evening in Fort Worth. He decided to come up a night early to visit friends. None of them were named Hicks.
Rangers owner Tom Hicks was at the NHL meetings and did not visit with Clemens. Nor did any representative of the Rangers. Hicks and general manager Jon Daniels have said they would be interested in talking to Clemens, who is a free agent, if he decides to pitch again in 2006.
During Thursday's banquet, Clemens said he won't decide until after Christmas whether he'll feel up to pitching next season.
