Seems there was a bit if a war of words between Mets and Gomez' agent, Scott Boras. Alderson reportedly backed out of deal because of Gomez' hip issue. Boras claims there is no issue, he is completely injury free.
Wilmer Flores was on the field when the trade was announced to the crowd and started crying, to make it worse they left him in the game CRYING INTO HIS GLOVE and if that wasn't bad enough they lost!

Well, that sucks. Reminds me of the time we traded for Brad Penny and tried to flip him for Randy Johnson but of course couldn't get it done. Mat Latos/Alex Wood is Brad Penny all over again.
