Schmidt was crap until he went to SF, so shush. How about Mike Williams for Tony McKnight?

I thought Schmidt was pretty decent when he was on the Pirates.

Anyway, it could be good for both side as for now, just like the A-Ram for Hill trade at the time. Hill was a big time prospect for the Cubs (he was ahead of Choi), though the only thing I didn't get was that the Pirates already had Freddy Sanchez to play 2B.

I liked Gerut, but the fact that we turned Dubois into Lawton is pretty nice.
