no one in new york or boston even recognizes oakland as a real place. whatever damon did before boston is irrelevant.

8 years for injury prone outfielders, yay! i actually like ellsbury a lot as a ball player, as much as cano, when hes actually on the field. unfortunately, thats the major sticking point the last 2 years. plus... for as good as ellsbury is as a center fielder... gardner is better. so i presume ellsbury is gonna be playing left field for 21+ million dollars a year? or theyre gonna go with a [slightly] lesser fielder in centerfield.

whatever, at least we're not cheaping out... and mccann and ellsbury were two ball players i really liked outside of yankee land. if they bring in infante for 2nd, our lineup is pretty damn solid top to bottom again [providing health]... we just have no pitching.
