Pure salary dump for Baltimore, I take it. Weeks hit .271 in the hitter-friendly PCL last year, can't see him becoming much more than a utility guy at best.

Weeks + 10-11 mil for Johnson seems like a solid deal for both sides, good to see the A's putting some money in payroll of late, hopefully now they can get the stadium in San Jose
