Diamondbacks acquired RHP Tim Worrell from the Phillies for infielder Matt Kata.
Not much of a risk for Arizona. Worrell had allowed five runs -- two earned -- in six innings since coming off the DL at the beginning of the month. Clearly, the Phillies would have let him go for so little if they thought he was capable of making much of a contribution the rest of the way. The Diamondbacks figure to put him in middle relief initially. He shouldn't be a candidate to close at any point.
