Thanks Cashman, I've got a good bottle of wine for the friday night, you go ahead and do that.
Think of the drunks, ohhh why won't you think of the drunks.
Seattle has depth in the minors they feel can start in the rotation this year or next (right-hander Taijuan Walker, lefty Danny Hultzen -- the No. 2 pick in last year's amateur draft -- and righty James Paxton). All they have to ML ready hitters in the system is really Ackley and that's it. Montero will play early and often. My concern is that hes another righty in Safeco Field.
2003 Hybrid World Champion (115-47 reg season, 11-4 playoffs)
TBL: Anaheim Angels 2006-present (238-244 regular season, 1 division title)
MSL: St Louis Cardinals 2013-present (2734-2936 regular season, 5 division titles, 2 championships)
TSSL: Seattle Mariners 2006-2029, Pittsburgh Pirates 2030-present (209-277, 5 division titles w/SEA, 1 championship w/SEA)
I don't see Walker or Hultzen being in the rotation next season. 2014 is a better guess. Mariners don't need to rush Hultzen.
I'll pretty much have to root for Pineda to be an ace so Yankee fans can shut the fuck up about getting Kershaw in 2014.
Don't be silly. The Yankees are getting Matt Cain and Cole Hamels next offseason. They won't have room for Kershaw by then.
I'm not surprised you feel that way
