This was a mindfucker when I heard it on TV! Congrats to the Indians getting a deal done for a #1 or 2 starterThe Rockies definitely got a haul for him but it could just be worth it. Indians still need to get a bat but Fukudome and Jimenez are pretty damn good deals for a small market team.
I find it hard to believe the Rockies wanted to trade their ace.
FML if Kershaw becomes the next most coveted pitcher and our GM feels he has to make a trade for the sake of making a trade.

Two things of note. Jimenez's contact is very favorable, so it might be a really good fit for the Indians. Secondly, and kind of contradictory to the first, supposedly the Rockies refused to let the Yankees give Jimenez a physical.

There is a physical scheduled today in Arizona. Looks like this physical may break the deal, all dependent on the outcome.
