It still pisses me off to think that aces Cliff Lee, Roy Halladay, and Roy Oswalt were traded over the past two years for the likes of Carlos Carrasco, Phillippe Aumont, Blake Beavan, and J.A. Happ, while the one pitching prospect we were dangling, James McDonald, drew no interest from those teams, and then our dumbfuck GM eventually gave him up for a month's service time of Octavio Dotel, and now McDonald is one of the best pitchers in the league.

With no foreseeable additions by the trade deadline, even if we do make the playoffs, I'm expecting to get our asses kicked by the Nationals or some other fresh **** team, since unlike the Giants and Cardinals the last two postseasons, we won't get the opportunity to play a Phillies team that is past its prime.
